Australian Ian Pool insists his models' faces are everything to him, yet his works are quite often embellished with a touch of nudity. It adds a little something.

"I have never been interested in anything but portraiture ... to capture a raw essence in a person is my ultimate goal and to share that with the world is my dream," says the emerging Brisbane-based photographer, who has chosen to be known professionally as Ian Pool.
