Art Photographer Michal Rejzek

Michal Rejzek
was born in 25th February 1969
in Liberec (Czech Republic - EU).
He lives in Prague since 1998.

He was working for large financial international companies at top and middle management positions before he started his photographer career. He has been a photographer specialized on portraits, modeling, nude, commercial and documentary photography since 1999.

Michal Rejzek opened his first exhibition in "The Philippines" at The Gallery 9 in Jablonec nad Nisou in September 2001. This exhibition was moved to the restaurant and gallery Houpacka in Prague and was placed there for 1 year. His next exhibition was organized with other participants of Prague Photography Workshop (The Prague Center for Further Education) in August 2003. This one was called "Martina´s weekend" and was exhibited in Restaurant, Pub and Cafe Livingstone in Prague. In October 2004 he took participation in an exhibit called "Internet Generation" in Prague.

In 2003 he moved to Sydney where he was working as a freelance photographer specialized on documentary and commercial photography. In Sydney he opened his exhibition in the Czech restaurant U nas doma in Kings Cross with the name "Czech pictures".

He workes for a few erotic, life style and dance music internet and paper magazines with digital photography using Canon equipment. He is fascinated with new opportunities of digital photography and graphics. In his oppinion it is not important in which way the pictures are made. What is critical is the final impression.
