Janez Vlachy was born in 1954 in Slovenia. He had his first big photography succes in 1988 when he won the YUGOSLAV SALON, first prize.

Since than Janez Vlachy has won numerous prices and has had his work exhibited all over the world: Tokyo, Montreal, New York, Ljublana (capital of Slovenia), Budapest etc..

His work is currently exhibited in a group show with two famous Japanese photographers Daido Moriyama and Masami Mori. In Tepper Takayama Fine Arts, Boston.
